This covers panduction.com and the Panduction app: signing in, the newsletter, applying to join the alpha, and using the app.
In short: we use your details only to run Panduction for you. We never sell them, your work is never used to train an AI model, and you can have a copy or have it deleted whenever you like.

1. Who we are
Panduction is a trading name of Monetis Ltd. We are the company responsible for looking after your details, and we are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK’s data protection regulator (number ZC224355). For anything on this page, email connor@panduction.com.
When your team adds other people’s details to the app, such as crew and contacts, those details belong to your company. We look after them for it.
2. What we hold
- Your account: your email address, and your password stored in a scrambled form that even we cannot read.
- The newsletter: your email address.
- An alpha application: your name, role, company, work email, and anything else you choose to tell us. We also keep the date you applied, whether you would like news, and which version of the form you filled in, so we know what you were asked.
- Using the app: the plans, documents and contacts your team adds.
- Visiting the site: like any website, the service that delivers our pages sees your IP address and browser type, so it can send the page to you.
3. Why we use it
| What for | The legal reason |
|---|---|
| Signing you in and running the app | It is what you signed up for |
| Reading your alpha application | You asked to join (the law calls this a legitimate interest) |
| Sending you news | You asked for it, and you can stop it any time by unsubscribing |
| Keeping the site and app secure | It protects you and us (a legitimate interest) |
| Records the law requires | The law requires them |
If you apply to join the alpha, we send you one email to say it reached us. We read your application and reply. To get a feel for what you make, we may look at work you have published, like a showreel or credits. If we offer you a place, we use your email address to set up your account. If you change your mind, tell us and we will delete your application.
Your name, role, company and work email are needed to apply. Everything else is optional. We only send you news if you tick the box for it.
4. AI in the app
If you use the AI breakdown, the text you give it is sent to our AI provider, whose AI drafts the breakdown and sends it back. It is never used to train an AI model, and the provider deletes it within 30 days. Nothing the AI suggests becomes part of your plan until a person approves it. The full detail is on what happens to your script.
5. Who handles it for us
| The service | What for | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Our database provider | Storing the app and your details, and signing you in | United Kingdom |
| Our website and backup provider | Delivering the site quickly and safely, and keeping our backups | From the server nearest you; backups in the EU |
| Our email sending service | Sending our emails, like the one that says your application reached us | United States |
| Our email inbox provider | Our inbox, where your application and any email you send us arrive | United States |
| Our AI provider | The AI breakdown, only when you use it | United States |
Each acts only on our instructions, under its data processing terms. If you would like to know which company provides a service, email us and we will tell you. We never sell your details or share them with anyone else, unless a court or the law requires us to.
6. Outside the UK
Your plan is stored in the UK. Some things are handled elsewhere, each with the protection UK law asks for:
- Our email sending service and our email inbox provider are in the United States. Both are certified under the UK’s data bridge with the United States, which the UK recognises as protecting data to its own standard.
- The text you give the AI breakdown goes to our AI provider in the United States, under contract terms the UK approves.
- Our backups are kept in the EU, which the UK recognises as protecting data to its own standard.
- Our pages reach you from the server nearest you, which can be outside the UK. Our website provider is certified under the same data bridge.
7. Cookies
No analytics, no tracking and no advertising. If you sign in, your browser remembers you so you stay signed in.
8. Keeping it safe
- Everything travels encrypted, and our providers encrypt what they store.
- Passwords are stored so that even we cannot read them.
- The database is backed up every day.
9. How long we keep it
| What | How long |
|---|---|
| Newsletter and news | Until you unsubscribe, then we delete it |
| Alpha applications | 12 months, or as long as you have an account if you join |
| Accounts | Until you close yours |
10. Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, stop using it, or send it to you in a form you can take elsewhere. You can withdraw your consent at any time. To ask, or to unsubscribe, email connor@panduction.com. It is free, and we reply within a month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, tell us first and we will reply within a month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
11. Children
Panduction is a tool for work. It is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect their details.
12. Changes to this page
If we change this page in a way that affects you, we email everyone with an account before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
